Demand Side Platforms (DSP)

A demand-side platform (DSP) is a software platform that allows advertisers and agencies to purchase and manage digital advertising inventory through real-time bidding (RTB) on a variety of ad exchanges and publisher platforms. DSPs connect to multiple ad exchanges, data exchanges and other sources to provide advertisers with access to a wide range of inventory and targeting options. DSPs have a user interface that allows the advertiser to create and manage campaigns, set targeting criteria and bid on inventory in real-time. Some examples of DSPs include DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM), The Trade Desk, AppNexus, MediaMath, and Adobe Advertising Cloud.
